Care for every branch of life.

OFFERINGS

Healing is not one-size-fits-all. It looks different depending on who you are, what you've carried, and what you're ready for right now. Whatever brought you here, there is a place for you within this work. Below you'll find the three areas I work in — each grounded in evidence, and each shaped around the person in front of me.

FOR CHILDREN

Because some things are too big for words.

Play Therapy · Especially suited for young children ages 3-11 years old

Play therapy is not simply supervised playtime — it is a clinically guided, intentional process in which your child is given the freedom to express what they may not yet have language for. Through sand, art, puppets, figurines, and creative play, children process big emotions and difficult seasons of life — in a space that is completely safe and entirely their own.

I also offer caregiver sessions — dedicated time for us to meet without your child present — because I believe a child's healing is deepest when it is held by the people who love them most. You are never on the outside of this work. You are a meaningful part of it.

"For a child, toys are words and play is language."

THIS MIGHT BE RIGHT FOR YOUR CHILD IF THEY ARE EXPERIENCING

Anxiety, excessive worry, or fears that feel out of proportion

Difficulty regulating big emotions or sudden behavioral changes

Grief, loss, or significant family transitions

The effects of trauma or adverse experiences

Social struggles or withdrawal

You just have to notice that something feels off —and trust that instinct.

Limited verbal expression

FOR ADULTS

A space that is entirely yours.

Individual Counseling · In person in Madison · Online throughout Wisconsin

Maybe you've been holding it together for so long that you've forgotten what it felt like not to. Maybe you're navigating grief, burnout, or a version of your life that no longer fits who you're becoming. Maybe something accumulated slowly, over years — and you've reached the point where carrying it alone is no longer working.

If you have ever felt like you had to leave part of yourself at the door — to code-switch, to shrink, to explain yourself before you could be understood — you will not have to do that here. Your full self is welcome: your background, your family dynamics, your cultural values, the particular weight of what you carry. We don't have to work around any of it. We can work with it.

"You don't have to be in crisis to deserve support."

AREAS I WORK WITH

Complex trauma

Grief and loss - including ambiguous and disenfranchised grief

Anxiety, depression, and life transitions

Identity, belonging, and navigating multiple worlds

Self-worth, self-compassion, and relational wounds

Caregiver compassion fatigue or burnout

Therapy isn't about fixing you. It's about returning to yourself — and discovering what you're capable of when you're no longer carrying everything alone.

FOR THOSE WHO HAVE SURVIVED

Your story matters. All of it.

Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET) · In person & online · 90 minute sessions

Healing from trauma requires a different kind of space — one that is unhurried, steady, and deeply respectful of your nervous system. Narrative Exposure Therapy gently helps you construct a coherent account of your life, including the experiences that have left the deepest marks. Rather than avoiding the painful parts, we give them a proper place in your story, so they no longer hold the same power over your present. I offer dedicated 90-minute sessions for this work, giving us the time to go somewhere meaningful and still return to steadiness before we close.

"This is not about reliving. It is about integrating."

THIS MAY BE HELPFUL IF YOU HAVE EXPERIENCED

Complex or repeated traumatic events across your life

Childhood trauma or adverse lifetime experiences

Refugee or immigration-related trauma and loss

You have already survived so much. This work is about reclaiming the life that belongs to you.

Symptoms of PTSD or complex trauma
